Valentin Tusch GmbH Sonderfahrzeugbau, based in Plescherken on Lake Keutschach in Carinthia, has 30 years of experience in manufacturing armoured personal protection vehicles for police, armed forces and peacekeeping organisations in Austria and abroad. We build individual special protection vehicles and heavy commercial vehicles/tracked vehicles in the resistance classes VPAM test guideline APR 2006 / STANAG up to Level 3.
For the construction of armoured special vehicles of a wide variety of makes, we use state-of-the-art materials that meet the highest ballistic requirements. Our particular focus is on the off-road and on-road capability of the vehicles as well as on lightweight armouring. Thanks to our comprehensive know-how and flexibility, we offer an optimum of safety, quality and a 24-hour service, even in crisis regions worldwide. This high standard has been valued for several years by the German Federal Government, the German Federal Foreign Office and the Austrian Federal Government.
The vehicles are individually adapted to different areas of operation and are in use internationally. In addition to special vehicle construction, the company develops and manufactures special technical solutions and specialised components for aircraft.

Tested and Certified
Every vehicle is tested and certified in accordance with the guidelines of the German Proof House (Deutsches Beschussamt). Military armouring is also tested to STANAG standards. Our technological development focus lies in the design of special aircraft, the production of non-flammable plastic turbine casings, the construction of floor installation kits for helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft, the construction of transport containers for aircraft, and the development of bulletproof pilot seats and bulletproof rotor blades for helicopters.
